Julie Selvaggi
Founder/Lead Strategist
A seasoned fundraiser with 20 years working in the trenches at nonprofits across the country and service areas, Julie brings a unique ability to see the big picture and identify successful fundraising strategies. Julie is particularly passionate about efficiency and collaboration throughout the nonprofit sector, always pushing the conversation about how we most effectively leverage our collective resources to solve society's most pressing systemic problems. With Bachelor's and Master's degrees in film, Julie has always approached her nonprofit work with an even balance of art and science. If you're looking to partner with someone who can appreciate your unique needs and tailor a comprehensive strategic plan to advance your mission, she's your woman! Julie lives in Pittsburgh with her husband and two kids - which frankly is a challenge for a Philadelphia sports fan. Go Eagles.

Kelsey Johnson, CFRE
Lead Strategist
Kelsey Johnson has worked in communications, public relations, marketing, and fundraising for 17 years. She can pitch a great media story, tee up a home run individual giving campaign, elevate your organization’s publications to the big leagues – and write a compelling, concise proposal to wow even the most exacting funders. Kelso lives in Boca Raton with her husband, daughter and several other animals, and serves on the Corporate Board of South Florida HOBY Youth Leadership and as Secretary of the Royal Oak Hills Association.

Hayvia Crawford, PMP
Grants Strategist
Hayvia Crawford brings 14+ years of administrative management and support experience with an emphasis on events and project management. To continue sharpening her skills as she dives into our work at Bambu, Hayvia recently became Six Sigma Green Belt certified, and obtained FAU's Executive Certificate of Project Management in the last year. While she is newer to the world of grant writing, her passion for serving nonprofits and those in need is evidenced through eight years of volunteer leadership with various organizations across South Florida. This passion along with her degree in Communications makes her a great fit for Bambu and she is ready to help our organization build effective growth strategies and establish enduring fundraising and communications programs to best fulfill missions and serve communities.

Patricia Etris
Grants Strategist
During her 15+ years leading corporate community investment teams for large, multi-national firms, Patricia most enjoyed working closely with their nonprofit partners to provide strategic fundraising advice, capacity building opportunities, and achieving mutually beneficial outcomes. Patricia believes in the value brought to everyone through strong corporate-community partnerships. During her MBA studies she focused her research on strategic corporate philanthropy and followed that with a certificate from Boston College in Corporate Community Involvement Leadership. She also served on boards of numerous nonprofits in various positions including chairperson and grants administration. Patricia is pleased to use her corporate experience to bring new ideas on strategic fundraising opportunities to the team at Bambu. Patricia currently lives in The Woodlands Texas with her husband and three cats.

Karen Ann Williams, CFRE
Director of Operations
Karen has over 30 years of experience in marketing, fundraising, nonprofit administration, and political campaign work. She has held elected office and served on numerous boards. Her main interest has always been nonprofit organizations and how they serve our communities. Karen has contributed to the nonprofit sector as a fundraiser, Director of Development, and consultant; and finds time to volunteer locally and to support the causes in which she believes.

Fundraising Smartypants
Bambu works in occassional partnership with the briliant people at Take Two Services to tackle important projects and raise critical funding. Together we have: built U.S-based funding for GRAVIS, a community development organization serving Rajasthan, India ; prospected local and state foundation and grant funding for Fund For Modern Courts, an advocacy group in New York ; developed fundraising materials and a white paper for a new Women’s Leadership Program at the University of Montana.
Kerstin Vogdes Diehn
We love partnering with Kerstin when clients need some pizzazz to brighten up their collateral. She's worked with dozens of nonprofits and knows how to communicate a mission beautifully! From logo design, print collateral, editorial design, annual report design, large-format exhibit and tradeshow graphics, and even websites, Kerstin is our go-to for all things visual.
